I currently spend much of my time working with start-up companies from various industries, essentially, helping them start-up. I advise and mentor these companies to prepare them for perhaps their first fund raise beyond friends and family, then help them establish a business framework around their innovative new product or service. One client described me as their "initial COO". I didn’t expect to work with start-ups 10 years ago, but it’s probably the most enjoyable.
My clients are scattered around the globe with many coming from London and New York City. I often work with these growth companies to strategize their company’s growth to other countries. So far, I have worked with companies offering new technologies in mobiletech, biotech, consumer goods and fintech.
My expert and core competencies include: financial structuring, capital markets, negotiation and legal documentation and business operations in the areas of private equity, real estate and project (infrastructure) finance.
With extensive knowledge of and execution of transactions and advisory work in major metropolitan areas of the US, UK, EMEA and Asia, I have been involved with and led various types of projects and investments, so far, totalling well over USD100 billion.
Often, my expertise has been utilized through executive education and training assignments for numerous commercial banks, companies and national governments around the world. I am often sought out as a speaker or moderator at conferences.
